Fattoria del Piccione is a farm at san Savino, near Monte Colombo, situated in the hills just a few kilometres inland from Rimini, on the shores of the adriatic Sea.

The propietors, The Pasini Family, produce excellent bottled wines using only carefully selected grapes grown with environment-friendly methods on their own land. The farm was built for wine-making in 1700, right by the walls of San Savino Castle, and has been used for the same purpose ever since. In addition to its top-quality wines, it now offers country holiday facilities.

The guests can make an interestisting visit to the old caves that are still used at wine cellars, to the Rural Heritage Museum, and the Tower of San Savino Castle, which enhances Fattoria del Piccione with a fascinanting aura of history.
